I enjoy bringing my ideas to life and immersing myself in my work, synthesizing things simply for the joy of doing it. My work relies on world-building and attention to individual characters. Most of all, I'm always striving to improve my artwork and processes.
Game design is an avenue allowing me to immerse the viewer in the universes I make. They participate as more than just a viewer; they get to be a part of the worldExperienced with:

A solo development game project. Breakward is set in the same universe as From One to Another. It is a match-3 style game developed using Godot. Art assets made in Piskel and sound effect made in PicoSynth.Runes, wards, enchantments--nothing stands in the way of a master breakward.

This is a passion project that I've had in the works for years being developed using Godot. It will be a collection of multimedia stories all set in the same universe.In the world of Marrow, Flick is a lost soul. Not knowing who they are or where they come from, everyone has their own idea of who Flick should be. Flick is driven by the feeling that they were supposed to be doing something very important, but whatever that was is now long forgotten.

A rock-paper-scissors card game with 5 elements that beat the next 2 in a cycle. The last one standing is the champion.WHAT SPELLS DEFEAT
A card game where players expend tokens to buy spells or cast more and bigger spells. The higher number wins rounds, and the most won rounds is the winner.AS I COMMAND
A singleplayer game in which the player programs their turn by looping through action tokens. It continues until all enemies are defeated or they run out of tokens.
Made for Game Design Studio in Fall 2024. Godot.FIRST DAY
This is set in the same universe as From One to Another. It is a VR game developed using Godot. 3D assets made in Quill by Smoothstep and Blender. Sound effects made using LMMS.When Feli falls from the sky, Malta is the one who finds them first. The two set off toward the surface to reunite Feli with their family.
Final game deliverable, Introduction to Game Programming projects, May 2023. JavaScript custom engine.Both games utilize a simple game engine created in JavaScript, and all of the visuals are coded within. The engine also resizes to fit the browser window, and will generate letterboxing as needed.TURN BATTLER
A unique grid component for game objects helps elements be drawn correctly. A turn-based system allows the player to take down enemies by colliding into them on their turn. The high score is saved as a browser cookie and between scenes.FISH GAME
Collision detection keeps the fish in the aquarium and the bubbles and food deleted once they are off-screen. The food container exists in screen space as UI, while everything else is in-world. The fish uses rudimentary tracking to hunt down food.
